Autoduel Quarterly Issue 5/2 was published in the summer of 1987. It featured complete rules for boats in the  system, and "Daddy's Girl," Car Wars fiction from Ramona Richards. Steve Jackson also contributed an article on how to design solo adventures for Car Wars that could also be used for other games.
